Best for: Operators with their own platform who want a games-only aggregator with strong data access and a Latin America-friendly lobby
Official website ↗

Alea is a Barcelona-based casino game aggregator that sells content through its AleaPlay product rather than a full casino platform. Its games page lists 26,882 games from 175 providers in October 2026, and the company stresses full data feeds, a Java microservices stack on AWS and two studios available only through Alea. Wallet details, currencies, integration time and pricing are not published, and onboarding starts with a meeting.

Strengths

  • Large lobby: 26,882 games from 175 providers on its games page in October 2026
  • Promise of full, untrimmed data from every provider, with BI built on Looker
  • Felix Gaming and Spinthon content offered only through Alea
  • Lobby already rich in titles popular in Brazil and wider Latin America
  • Focused scope: easy to add beside a platform you already run

Weaknesses

  • Wallet model, currency list and integration time are not published
  • Provider figures differ between pages (175 on one, "over 100" on another)
  • No public developer documentation or self-signup
  • Engagement tools are named but not described in any detail
  • No white-label or turnkey route if you need a full casino

Most aggregator homepages count games. Alea spends more of its space on data. It tells operators it will pass on “the full data of all software - zero trimming”, that player data is centralised across every provider, and that its reporting is powered by Looker. For a casino that already runs its own platform and analytics, that is the most interesting part of the pitch, and it is the part to test hardest.

Who Alea is

Alea is based in Barcelona, at the address on its site footer. It sells game content through a product it calls AleaPlay, together with a back office and services around it. Its about page claims more than twelve years of experience across B2C and B2B, without giving a founding date.

Leadership changed in February 2024. Jordi Sendra, COO since 2021, became CEO, and founder Alexandre Tomic moved to a non-executive role. Ramon Glieneke, who came from an aggregation business in travel, took over as COO. Trade press at the time credited the founder with taking Alea into Latin America, Africa and Asia.

The trophy shelf on the homepage is long, with aggregator and workplace awards from 2022 to 2025. Awards tell you about visibility at trade shows. They tell you little about how a wallet call behaves at peak load.

The catalogue

The games page showed 26,882 games from 175 software providers in October 2026. The homepage lists Evolution, Playtech, Play’n GO, Amusnet, Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Push Gaming, Nolimit City, Skywind and Yggdrasil as its top ten. The full provider list also includes PG Soft, Spribe, Smartsoft, NetEnt, Relax Gaming, Novomatic and many smaller studios.

The “top games” block is revealing. It is full of titles that sell well in Brazil: Fortune Tiger and Fortune Ox, Roleta Brasileira Live, Bac Bo, Aviator and Mines. If that is your market, a lot of the lobby curation has already been done for you.

Two studios carry an extra claim. The homepage says Felix Gaming and Spinthon offer content and features available only through Alea. Exclusives can help a new brand stand out, but ask whether they cover every game and every country you serve.

One number needs care. The same homepage that shows 175 providers also says the one-stop API gives access to “over 100” software providers. That is probably old copy, but ask for a dated provider list anyway.

Technology and data

Alea gives more architecture detail than most rivals. It says the platform runs on AWS with 99.95% uptime, uses a microservices design, and is written in Java. Business intelligence runs on Looker.

The data promise is the selling point. A lot of hubs give operators a summarised round feed and keep the detail. Alea says you get the full data from every provider. If true, your fraud, bonus and VIP teams can work from the same raw rounds as Alea’s own staff.

What is missing is the integration layer itself. Alea publishes no developer documentation, no wallet model and no integration timeline. You will not know whether it uses a seamless or transfer wallet, how requests are signed, or how retries are handled until you are in talks. Our guide to seamless vs transfer wallets lists what to ask.

Engagement tools

The homepage names iFrame game launch, online chats, campaigns, free spins and quick deposits as tools across the player journey. It also mentions rates and promotions reserved for aggregator volumes. None of this is described in detail. Tournaments and jackpots are not mentioned for the main casino product.

That gap matters more than it seems. Free spins granted through an API can be wired into your own CRM rules and welcome flow. Free spins set by hand in a back office need a person on shift every time a campaign changes. Ask which of the two Alea offers, which studios support it, and whether the “campaigns” on the homepage are run by Alea, by the studios or by you. If your retention plan leans on leaderboards, budget for a separate tool.

There is also a virtual reality side project. A VR casino page describes table games, 100+ slots, slot tournaments and social VR on several headsets. It is interesting, but it is not something most operators will be buying in 2026.

Commercial side

Alea’s homepage says operators can “skip the hidden set-up fees” and mentions no minimum fees and zero technical maintenance. No fee schedule is published, so we treat this as positioning, as we did in our no-setup-fee ranking. The first step is a booked meeting, not a sign-up form. Pricing is on request.

What to test in a demo

Who should look at Alea

Alea suits an operator that already owns its platform and wants a games-only partner with a strong data offer, especially for Latin America. Its narrow scope is a strength there: you do not pay for platform modules you will never use.

Founders who need a full casino, published API docs or a quick test will struggle. St8 publishes far more about its API, and Hub88 documents its wallet in public. SoftAggregator offers instant keys and free test credit for operators who want to try the integration before any meeting, and it can also supply a full white-label casino.

Frequently asked questions

How many games does Alea have?

Alea's games page showed 26,882 games from 175 software providers in October 2026. The homepage rounds this to 26,000+ games. Another section of the homepage mentions "over 100" providers, so confirm the live list during talks.

Does Alea charge a setup fee?

Alea does not publish a fee schedule. Its homepage tells operators to "skip the hidden set-up fees" and mentions no minimum fees, but that is marketing copy. Ask for zero setup and zero minimums to be written into the contract.

Does Alea offer a white-label casino?

Alea does not advertise a white-label or turnkey casino on its site. It sells game aggregation through AleaPlay, plus a back office and data services, so you need your own platform or a separate platform supplier.

Which studios are exclusive to Alea?

The homepage says Felix Gaming and Spinthon content and features are only available through Alea. Check whether the exclusivity covers all their games and all your markets before you build a promotion around them.

Who runs Alea?

Jordi Sendra became CEO in February 2024 after serving as COO since 2021. Founder Alexandre Tomic moved to a non-executive role focused on industry relations and strategic projects.
